Welcome!  Primarily 6 Arrows.com is an rpg actual play podcast site.  While I am attempting to establish a blogging presence, among other things, mostly I like to record the  weekly gaming sessions and post them here.  At this point there are enough of them that it might be confusing to know which one to start with.  Whatever you do, DON”T start with #1, because it’s not our best work.

I suggest starting with  6 Arrows #29 – Tears of Ioun part 12.

I think from podcast #29 and up the quality is a notch higher than what came before.  True, it’s in the middle of the adventure, but I think the below summary can get you up to speed on what is going on.  You should be able to jump right in.  There will, of course, be little things mentioned that won’t make sense.  But for the most part you should be ok.

First, the players.

Sean is our dungeon master and our host.

Jeff (me) plays Uthal, our Goliath Warden.  He’s a dumb defender, but has a pretty good heart.  He also stinks.

Chris plays Jack.  He’s our Elven Druid.  You may hear him be referred to as Will, but it’s Jack. He’s a polite controller who doesn’t mind getting his hands dirty.

Dave plays Burrell, our cleric.  Burrell sometimes says evil things, even though she’s supposed to be good.

Matt plays Wolf, a Goliath Barbarian.  Wolf just loves to climb things.

Keri plays Kayleth, our half-elven ranger who we try to make into a rogue whenever possible, much to the dismay of Keri.

The Story So Far:  (with lots of summary)

The Lambda Syndicate, as our party is called, was visiting the city of Wellspring when a group of Grells attacked the center of town.  The party dispatched the Grells, and were thanked by a priestess of Ioun named Dierdre.

Dierdre explained that the Grells were after the Tear of Ioun, which is a gift from the goddess Ioun that has been corrupted.

Dierdre tasked the party with finding the Tear.  She further explained that there are a few parties interested in it’s acquisition.  An evil being known as Malachi may be controlling the grells.  Another being known as Shathrax could also be involved, although it is unclear how.

Clues pointed the party to the Forlorn Tower, and they battled long and hard before deciding that the tower is too tough and returning to Wellspring.

The party returned to learn that people have been going missing in the street.

The party learned that another type of tentacle creature, abominations if you will, have been coming from the sewers.  The party entered the sewers in search of answers.

And that is where 6 Arrows #29 – Tears of Ioun part 12 begins.

Here are a few pictures:
